General
Yes, all of our J1 positions are paid. You will be fairly hourly paid as a local with the same level than you will be paid. Some of the businesses take in charge of your housing, some of them don’t, but may pay more. The offered compensation and benefits are specified in all of our J1 opportunities you see here.
It will be 32 hours per week minimum, but it can be much more. Your workload can vary months to months depending on the season.
You can, but for a very good reason only.
There is no age restriction for getting the J1 Intern or Trainee visa. However, it may be harder to qualify if you have several years of experience at a senior level or at a high level position in the field you want to pursue.
